据日本日经产业新闻(Nikkei business daily)报道，丰田公司计划与松下电器公司投资近7亿美元在日本建厂扩大混合动力车专用镍氢电池的生产，并将开始生产更先进的锂电池。丰田与松下计划建立两家新工厂——一家位于日本北部，另一家位于东京西南部的静冈县，同时扩建现有的镍氢电池厂。双方计划到2011年将电池的年产量提高到100万台，这些电池将用于下一代普锐斯和丰田以及雷克萨斯未来其他的混合动力车。丰田曾表示计划到2010年以后将混合动力车的年产量提高到100万辆以上。 Toyota To Build Green-Car Battery Plants Toyota is teaming with Matsushita Electric to invest nearly $700 million in Japan to expand production of nickel metal hydride batteries and to begin production of more advanced lithium-ion batteries, according to Japan''s Nikkei business daily. Toyota and Matsushita, the parent of Panasonic, expect to construct two new plants — one in northern Japan and one in Shizuoka, southwest of Tokyo — while expanding an existing nickel metal hydride battery plant. The partners plan to hike annual battery production to 1 million units a year by 2011, for the next-generation Prius and other future hybrids from Toyota and Lexus. The automaker has said it plans to boost annual production of hybrid vehicles to more than 1 million units after 2010. |
