宝马决定启动专门为超大城市新的称为“Project i”的新车开发机构。宝马CEO 雷瑟夫说Project i将对越来越严格的尾气排放要求以及车辆进出城市更严格的限制措施提出解决方案。创立第四个品牌或许是其中的一个解决方案，但雷瑟夫说公司并没有作出最后决定。宝马负责品牌开发的负责人Friedrich Eichiner说，新机构将研究开发适合在城市驾驶的新的环保概念车和驱动系统。 BMW launches city car project BMW has set up a new unit called Project i to develop cars for megacities. BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer said Project i would present solutions to the challenge of tougher emissions requirements and restricted access to towns and cities. A fourth brand could be one of those solutions but Reithofer said that no decision had been taken yet. Friedrich Eichiner, BMW''s head of corporate and brand development said the new unit would "look into options" for new eco-friendly concepts and drivetrains suitable for city driving. |
