Top European auto maker Volkswagen AG''s vehicle sales in mainland China and Hong Kong rose 28 percent to 910,491 units in 2007, beating its target of 900,000 units, a spokesman for the company''s China operations said on Thursday.
In 2008, the maker of Volkswagen and Audi brand cars, aims to grow its vehicle sales in the region by 15 to 20 percent, in line with the expected growth of the market, the spokesman from the operations'' public relations department told Reuters.
