India''s Mahindra to sell hybrid SUVs in the US
India''s top utility vehicle and tractor maker, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., plans to market hybrid sport utility vehicles in the United States, its managing director said on Friday.
"Given the growing opposition to SUVs in the United States, we have a plan to market hybrid SUVs," Anand Mahindra said at a conference on climate change.
The company has said it will begin selling its Scorpio SUV in the United States from 2008.
