丰田汽车公司称今年一季度在中国大陆和香港地区的销量同比增加了66%，主要是受市场对凯美瑞轿车需求激增的影响。丰田今年一季度共销售了103000辆车，其中香港地区为2700辆。这一增幅超过了通用汽车公司25%，通用同期销量为291588辆。凯美瑞前三个月销量为36000辆。 Toyota says first quarter China sales up 66 percent Toyota Motor Corp. sold 66 percent more vehicles in mainland China and Hong Kong in the first quarter than a year earlier, helped largely by brisk demand for locally made Camry sedans. Toyota sold 103,000 vehicles in the market during the three-month period, including 2,700 units in Hong Kong, a company official told Reuters today. That outpaced 25 percent growth for General Motors, which entered the China market much earlier and recorded much bigger sales of 291,588 vehicles in the mainland from Janurary to March. Demand for the Camry, the best-selling car in the United States in eight of the past nine years, was strong in China as well, with sales of 36,000 units. |
