通用大宇为满足市场需求投资32亿美元提高产量 |

韩国第三大汽车公司通用大宇汽车技术公司今天表示，为了满足市场需求的增长，它计划在未来几年投资32亿美元（约合3万亿韩元）提高产量。公司发言人援引CEO Michael Grimaldi的话说，公司计划使投资规模与过去四年的总水平保持一致。这位发言人表示，公司可能会扩大工厂规模以满足增长的市场需求。不过包括时间范围在内细节还未决定。通用大宇今年其销量将增加约20%达到170到180万辆的水平，而去年包括散件的销量为153万辆。 GM Daewoo to invest $3.2 billion to meet rising demand GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co., South Korea's third-largest automaker, said today it plans to invest $3.2 billion (3 trillion won) in coming years and will look into expanding factories to meet rising demand. "We will make the same volume of investment that we have made for the last four years," Michael Grimaldi, GM Daewoo's CEO, was quoted as saying by a company spokesman. The spokesman said GM Daewoo might expand its factories to accommodate increasing demand, although details of the investments, such as a time frame, have not been decided yet. GM Daewoo expects its sales to rise about 20 percent to 1.7 million to 1.8 million units this year, after the company sold 1.53 million units, including kits, last year. |
